1. Identity and address of the data controller

2. Data and information that may be processed

JsDownloader seeks to minimize the personal data it processes. Depending on how you use the site and the infrastructure used to operate it, the following categories may be processed:

• URLs entered by the user to provide the requested function. The URL is processed to analyze the content and generate the available options.
• Technical data that may be generated automatically, such as IP address, browser type or user agent, date and time, requested path, response code, security events, errors and operational diagnostics.
• Basic contact information that you voluntarily provide when writing to help@jsdownloader.com, such as your name, email address and message content.
• Technical preferences stored in the browser, including the age confirmation stored during the session through browser storage.
• Data generated by third-party advertising providers when their technologies are active, in accordance with their own policies and settings.

3. URLs and platform demand radar

URLs entered by users are used to carry out the user's request. Certain technical server logs may temporarily contain the URL or other diagnostic information when reasonably necessary for security, operation or troubleshooting.

The internal platform-demand system does not store the full video URL. For that ranking, only the normalized site domain is retained, together with request, success or generic-failure counters and timestamps for the first and most recent detection.

The purpose of this record is to understand which sites the community attempts to use and to prioritize compatibility improvements without retaining paths, parameters, video identifiers or tokens in the demand database.

4. Sensitive personal data

JsDownloader does not intentionally request sensitive personal data in order to provide its service. You should not enter private or sensitive information in forms or messages unless it is necessary for the request you wish to make.

The fact that a URL points to adult content does not by itself mean that JsDownloader intends to infer or create a profile about a user's sex life, preferences or other sensitive characteristics.

5. Purposes of processing

The information described may be processed for the following purposes necessary to operate JsDownloader:

• Process supported URLs and return information or download options to the user.
• Deliver requested files and display analysis or download status.
• Maintain service security, prevent abuse, investigate failures and protect infrastructure.
• Respond to support and contact requests and requests to exercise rights.
• Generate internal compatibility and demand statistics by domain.
• Remember the age confirmation during the browser session when applicable.

6. Advertising, cookies and similar technologies

JsDownloader may be financed through third-party advertising. When advertising from Adsterra or another provider is activated, those third parties may use cookies, pixels or other technologies to display advertising materials, remember preferences, measure campaigns or tailor ads in accordance with their own policies.

JsDownloader's 18+ confirmation is stored for the duration of the session through browser storage and may be removed by ending the browser session or clearing site data, depending on how your browser works.

You can use your browser or device settings to manage, block or delete cookies and local storage. Blocking certain technologies may cause some functions or ads to behave differently.

7. Providers and third parties

Infrastructure, hosting, network, security, domain-resolution, content-distribution, email or advertising providers may be involved in operating JsDownloader. Those third parties may process technical information to the extent necessary to provide their services.

JsDownloader does not sell personal data. When a third party collects information directly through its own technology, that processing may also be subject to the third party's own privacy notice or policy.

If a transfer of personal data requires consent under applicable law, that consent will be requested or managed as legally required.

8. Retention

Personal data will be retained only for the time reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes described, maintain security and address legal or operational responsibilities. When it is no longer needed, it will be deleted, anonymized or blocked as appropriate.

Platform-radar records are domain-level statistics and are not designed to identify a person. Technical logs and support messages may be retained for as long as necessary for diagnostics, security, request follow-up or compliance with obligations.

9. Security measures

JsDownloader applies reasonable administrative and technical measures to reduce the risks of unauthorized access, loss, alteration or misuse of information. No system connected to the Internet can guarantee absolute security, so these measures will be reviewed as the infrastructure and risk level evolve.

10. ARCO rights

You may exercise your rights of Access, Rectification, Cancellation and Objection regarding your personal data by sending a request to help@jsdownloader.com with the subject line 'ARCO Rights'.

The request must make it possible to identify you and clearly describe the right you wish to exercise and the data involved. When necessary, sufficient documentation may be requested to verify the identity of the data subject or the subject's representative.

JsDownloader will communicate the applicable decision within the time limits established by applicable Mexican law and, when appropriate, will give effect to the right within the corresponding legal period.

11. Limitation of use, objection and withdrawal

You may request a limitation on the use or disclosure of your data, or object to processing where applicable law permits such objection, by writing to help@jsdownloader.com.

You may also manage cookies, local storage and other technologies through your browser settings. Withdrawal of consent will not have retroactive effects on processing lawfully carried out before the withdrawal and may be subject to legal exceptions.

12. Minors and 18+ content

Areas or flows identified as adult content are intended exclusively for people aged 18 or older and for those who meet the minimum age required by the law of their place of residence.

JsDownloader does not use age confirmation as a mechanism for creating personal profiles. If it is discovered that personal information from a minor was improperly received, deletion may be requested through the contact email address.

13. Changes to the Privacy Notice

This Notice may be changed to reflect legal, technical, operational, provider or JsDownloader feature changes. The current version will be published at https://jsdownloader.com/en/privacy and will indicate the date of its latest update.

When a change requires additional consent or special notice under applicable law, the corresponding mechanisms will be used.
