1. About the service

JsDownloader is a web service operated from Mexico. For questions related to these Terms, you may write to help@jsdownloader.com.

2. Description of JsDownloader

JsDownloader is a web tool that analyzes supported links and, when a publicly available and technically accessible source exists, displays options so the user can obtain media files through the browser.

Compatibility may vary by platform, type of post, content availability, third-party changes, technical restrictions and other factors outside JsDownloader's control.

3. Free access and advertising

General access to JsDownloader may be offered free of charge and financed through advertising. The availability of features, advertising formats or service characteristics may change over time.

The presence of advertisements or third-party links does not imply a recommendation, affiliation or guarantee by JsDownloader regarding the products, services or sites being advertised.

4. Permitted use

The user is responsible for using JsDownloader only with content that the user has the right, authorization or sufficient legal basis to download, retain or use.

The fact that JsDownloader can technically analyze a URL or display a download option does not grant the user copyright, licenses, exploitation rights or authorization over the content.

5. Private, paid, protected or restricted content

JsDownloader is not designed to bypass DRM, paywalls, access controls, authentication, private content, account restrictions or other measures intended to limit access to a resource.

The user agrees not to use the service to attempt to defeat, neutralize or circumvent those measures. JsDownloader may reject or interrupt requests when restricted, unsupported or non-public content is detected.

6. Intellectual property and third-party rights

Videos, images, audio, posts, trademarks, trade names and other content processed from third-party platforms belong to their respective owners. JsDownloader does not claim ownership of that content.

Platform names and trademarks mentioned on the site are used to describe compatibility. Unless expressly stated otherwise, JsDownloader is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by those platforms.

7. Prohibited conduct

You may not use JsDownloader for unlawful activities, infringement of third-party rights, malware distribution, fraud, impersonation, infrastructure abuse, automation intended to degrade the service, unauthorized access or any conduct contrary to applicable law.

We may limit, block or reject requests that reasonably appear abusive, harmfully automated or incompatible with the secure operation of the service.

8. Adult content

Some supported URLs may correspond to adult content. Sections or flows identified as 18+ are intended only for people who are at least 18 years old and meet the minimum age required by the law of their place of residence.

The age confirmation shown by JsDownloader is a statement made by the user and is not an official identity or age verification. If you do not meet the required age, you must not continue to content identified as adult content.

9. Third-party platforms and services

In some cases, JsDownloader depends on information, formats, pages and services operated by third parties. Those third parties may change their sites, technologies, rules or availability without notice.

JsDownloader does not control or guarantee the continuity, accuracy, security or operation of third-party services. Access to an external link is subject to the terms and policies of the applicable third party.

10. Service availability

JsDownloader is provided as is and as available. We do not guarantee that every URL will work, that every quality will be available, that a platform will remain supported or that the service will operate without interruptions or errors.

We may perform maintenance, apply limits, remove integrations, modify features or temporarily suspend functions when necessary for security, performance, technical changes, legal compliance or operational decisions.

11. User responsibility

The user decides which links to process, which files to download and how to use them. The user is therefore responsible for verifying that those actions comply with copyright, privacy, contracts, the terms of the source platforms and any other applicable rules.

The user is also responsible for reviewing downloaded files and using reasonable security measures on the user's device.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, JsDownloader will not be liable for indirect losses, third-party interruptions, platform unavailability, content removal, user decisions, unauthorized use of downloaded material or damage resulting from breaches attributable to the user.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude rights or liabilities that cannot legally be limited or waived.

13. Privacy

The processing of personal data related to JsDownloader is described in the Privacy Notice available at /en/privacy. The Privacy Notice forms part of the framework governing use of the site.

14. Changes

We may update these Terms to reflect legal, technical, operational or commercial changes. The current version will be published on this page and will indicate the date of the latest update.

When a change requires additional notice under applicable law, reasonably available means will be used to provide that notice.

15. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms will be interpreted in accordance with the laws of the United Mexican States. For any dispute that may legally be submitted to an agreed jurisdiction, the parties submit to the competent courts of Nuevo León, Mexico, without prejudice to any non-waivable rights available to the user under applicable public-order, data-protection or consumer-protection rules.
